Louise and Andrew Lees were awarded a top award for the second year running in the Kent Wildlife Trust Wild about Gardens Award Scheme. Their plot was selected as the best in plots for its good mix of vegetables and fruit for consumption and thoughtful planting of a variety of plants to attract pollinators and a range of other wildlife.

The Annual General Meeting of the Stonebridge Allotment Society will be held in the Purifier Building – at the rear of Morrisons’ car park – at 7.00 p.m. on Wednesday 13th November 2019.
This year’s plant swap will take place between 1000 hrs and 1300 hrs on Sunday 12th May in the main entrance area of the Allotments.
If you have a plethora or paucity of seedlings, or any plants, now is the time to SWOP and meet fellow allotment holders, too. We would appreciate any help on the day.
If the weather is dire we will postpone for a week or so.
Stonebridge Allotments were awarded a Certificate of Excellence in the South and South East in Bloom competition and Louise and Andrew Lees received a Silver Gilt in the”Wild About Gardens” award scheme
Thanks are due to the many plotholders who contributed to the allotment award.The judge who inspected Louise and Andrew’s plot commented that in addition to growing plenty of fruit and vegetables, they found room for a lot of flowers that were beneficial to insects.
