Thanks to the ten plus volunteers who turned up over three days to clear years of accumulated rubbish and overgrown vegetation from one of our plots, prior to its re-letting. A tremendous amount of work was achieved in order to make the site presentable to new tenants.
The photographs show some of the work in progress. Thanks to Chris Chalmers for the first two photographs.
Louise and Andrew Lees were awarded a top award for the second year running in the Kent Wildlife Trust Wild about Gardens Award Scheme. Their plot was selected as the best in plots for its good mix of vegetables and fruit for consumption and thoughtful planting of a variety of plants to attract pollinators and a range of other wildlife.
